I was born in Syracuse, New York, USA, in October 1963. In 1981, I went away to Syracuse University, where I studied electrical engineering and track & field. When that was finished, I moved to Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, where I studied only electrical engineering at the University of Illinois. After completing my Ph.D. in 1992, I moved to Toronto, where I currently reside. Here are the facts.
